We have been creating professional online stores on our own app based on modern technology for more than 15 years now. Since 2016, we’ve been developing a global scalable open source e-commerce framework. The aim of Shopsys Framework is to save thousands of hours of development when building large online stores. It’s an ambitious project and we’re looking for top programmers who will join our team of the best developers in the game.
Are you who we’re looking for?
We want a developer with a sense for responsibility, and experience in automated testing and continuous integration.
You should have some experience with PHP and developing bigger projects.
Have you met Jenkins, Gatling, Selenium and some of the tools for code quality control (like PHP-CodeSniffer, PHPCS-Fixer, PhpStan)? Great, you get a point!
We want someone who is no stranger to English—it’s important you are skilled in technical English.
What will be your responsibilities?
You will be a part of the product team which continuously works on developing and improving the Shopsys Framework, a global open source e-commerce platform.
You’ll be responsible for creating and automating processes, and making sure they remain the best quality possible so that Shopsys Framework is fully functional at all times.
You will decide what needs to be tested and how, you will get to oversee the testing and its sustainability.
Defining the scenarios which Shopsys Framework must stand through will be your task too, as well as making sure that it actually works.
You will be involved in improving our coding standards and code quality which are two things which are very important to us.
Apart from your speciality—quality assurance—you’ll be involved in the development of the actual Shopsys Framework along with the other team members.

Our product owner, scrum master, lead developer and 6 other developers are excited to work with you!
We opt for agile project management (Scrum) with two-week iterations.
We use modern, yet tried and tested technologies, including PHP7.2, Symfony3.4, while Doctrine and Twig allow us to write clean code. We use PostgeSQL as our primary database and Redis or Elasticsearch are our choice for optimization; LESS and Grunt are used for front end support.
